A Swan Hill lad from regional farming families, Damian is one of the ‘find it and fix it’ forces for BR&C.
Attending St Mary’s Primary and MacKillop College, ‘Sav’ found that he gravitated towards and enjoyed the areas of maths, accounting and agriculture.
These subjects held him in good stead when he gained work experience at BR&C, which evolved to after school work when he was going through Year 10.
After finishing school ‘Sav’ started full-time work with us, and hasn’t looked back since.
In winter ‘Sav’ has been known to pull on a footy jumper for Swan Hill or Murrabit, and swat tennis balls when the mood took him over the long, hot summers.
In his time at BR&C , ‘Sav’ has yarded livestock, sold merchandise at the front counter, delivered to clients properties, inspected paddocks, quoted large jobs, counted and reconciled inventory and ‘crunched the numbers’. He now is a vital lynch-pin in our Agronomy Team in Swan Hill ensuring that inventory is under control and supply guaranteed.
It is because of these qualities ‘Sav’ is often the ‘go-to’ man for information or ideas in our everyday operations. In fact, he is the sort of fella that not only makes sure that the Swan Hill Agronomy team operates smoothly, but is worth a yarn if you’re seeking information on where to get it, how to get it there and how much it will cost.
