Winning the ‘Most Polite Student Award’ for a record thirteen years straight in St Mary’s Primary and Donald High School, our Lachlan Sheridan is something of an enigma at BR&C.
Lachie has impressed everyone he has come into contact with as one of the most polite and well-mannered young men ever to wear a blue shirt.
In proving that he was going to be a bit different from most in our industry, Lachie decided that instead of attending Agricultural College…he’d go straight to University, and attended La Trobe University in Melbourne. Not only did he attend La Trobe…he elected to stay at the esteemed Menzies College as his dormitory! Despite how this looks…Lachie is one of the most egalitarian and humble young men around.
During his university education Lachie did his placements in Donald, however once he was through BR&C scrambled to get hold of him. Lachie is ‘doing his apprenticeship’ under Ben Pumpa, one of the Mallee’s most respected agronomists, and is quickly finding his way in the field and impressing with his approach to learning.
Lachie plays football for Lake Boga, suggesting that in playing in the backline he always gets the ugliest and most rugged forwards. I’m not sure I’d be saying that on a public forum…but that’s Lachie problem I guess…
Lachie lists his hobbies as all the outdoors activities, from Water Skiing and shooting through to riding motor bikes through the bush. He also list long walks along the beach as a personal favourite as well…and we’re all pretty sure of the angle he’s using here…
Lachlan says that he enjoys agronomy as he can help farmers succeed, and loves the family atmosphere to be found at BR&C.
